The Department of Health, through the Center for Health Development (Region 1), conducted its Regional Awarding for the National Tuberculosis Program at the Diego Silang Hall, Provincial Capitol Building, San Fernando City, La Union last March 29, 2007. Several awards were given to various medical institutions and physicians from all over the region. One of the recipients was the Dr. Vivencio V. Villaflor Sr. Medical Foundation- DOTS Clinic, for the category - Most Outstanding Facility (Private Hospital Category).

The award demonstrated that VVMF-DOTS Clinic continues to live up to its advocacy to monitor and provide quality health service to TB patients diagnosed by private physicians concentrated in areas covering the City of Dagupan and nearby towns.
